An exclusive showcase of the Gold Coast's best original Original Live MUSIC, @ Waxy's Irish Pub - Upstairs Bar' in Surfers Paradise.
We will be celebrating our life and our freedom on the Friday 8th May in style with 2 great festival bands, 2 DJ's and a live performance artist Anthony Pieters who will create an artwork in between the bands to raise
awareness for the Free West Papua campaign.
We aim to raise $2000 from ticket sales and donations to help Free West Papua (http://freewestpapua.org/) from the oppression and genocide being committed by the Indonesian government there over a highly valuable mining region in the West Papua Highlands. Every ticket
sold helps to contribute to raising this donation and pay's for the evenings
first class entertainment.
Get there early for tasty food and VIP Benefits at our fully licensed bar serving serving 18+ patrons beer,
wine and spirits till 2:45 am. Under 18's welcome before 10:30pm provided they are accompanied by their legal guardian / parent. Entrance at the discretion of the venue management.

The High Grade is an energetic Reggae/Hip Hop fusion
from the East Coast. Featuring groovy bass lines, lyrical hip hop, and
punchy brass lines, this band is sure to get everyone moving on the dance
floor.
